Leadership Development Program - COJG Example Program

The Canada-Ontario Jobs Grant (COJG) is available for training that leads to job advancement. Whether you want to support the development of a single supervisor, manager, leader or an entire group/team in your organization.

Gaski's Leadership Development Program supports the skills necessary for a current or future leader to gain a clear understanding of how the two key leadership dimensions (the task/job and the people/relationships) play a critical role in job advancement. Our multi-day Leadership Development Program is focused on helping the individual leader inspire, enable and encourage the team to achieve the desired organizational goals, thus allowing the leader to advance in his or her career.

This program is ideal for succession planning and top talent development.

The Leadership Development Program* includes 6 core (customizable) modules (for a total of 48 hours of study). This program can be fully customized** to suite your specific needs. Some example modules that support leadership development, include:

• Non-Verbal Communication (1-day workshop)
• Influence, Motivation and Persuasion (1-day workshop)
• Leadership for Managers (1-day workshop)
• Managing Change Today (1-day workshop)
• Problem Solving and Decision Making (1-day workshop)
• Interpersonal Business Communication Skills (1-day workshop)

** The workshops listed above are used as an example and can be changed to suit the individual and organizational learning and development needs. This program has a recommended duration of between 3 and 6 months but can be extended (for organizations) to a maximum of 12 months (if required).

* Upon successful completion of this program you may qualify for a credit in the Leadership Certificate program (through a prior learning assessment) offered at Seneca College, Faculty of Continuing Education and Training.

In addition to the 6 workshops listed above, the Leadership Development Program also provides you with:

• Up to 6 one-to-one personal coaching sessions (if required).
  • If coaching is not required then an additional module/workshop can be substituted.
• An initial 360-Leadership Assessment
  
  • This provides feedback on the individual and organizational current leadership knowledge, ability and skill.
• A comprehensive Personal Development Planning guide and workbook,
• A final post training 360-Leadership Assessment
  • This final feedback provides a report that identify any changes in your leadership knowledge, ability and skill.
